Plug and Play from the Silicon Valley established the world’s largest and ultimate innovation platform, which brings together the best startups and the world’s largest corporations. The Plug and Play venture capital arm has funded more than 30 startups in the fields of fintech, insurtech, mobility, and more. In 2010, Plug and Play set up the Singapore office to replicate its success in the United States and has launched several accelerator programs in partnership with private entities and blue chip corporations within Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) market.
Aktivolabs was selected from 200 global startups to enter into the Plug and Play accelerator program.

Apollo Munich InspireNext Program
Apollo Munich has always set itself apart from other health insurance providers in India by advocating game-changing technology innovation in the industry. This impetus to innovate was the same motivating force behind InspireNext, the company’s first-ever accelerator program, which was launched back in March 2019 at its headquarters in Gurugram in National Capital Region, India.
Chosen from more than 150 aspirants, Aktivolabs and 17 other startups were invited to present in a pitch event in February 2019. After a rigorous selection process led by Apollo Munich and program partner MEDICI, only nine applicants - including Aktivolabs - made it to the final roster. Each participant was mentored by Apollo Munich’s business executives and technologists with a return to Gurugram in June 2019 for the much-awaited Demo Day.
The Digital Insurance Agenda
Digital Insurance Agenda (DIA) is a must-attend annual conference that spurs innovation in the space by promoting synergy between practitioners of insurance and insurtech. In June 2019, thousands of executives from all continents flock to Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to attend the event.
Aktivolabs’ own Gourab Mukherjee is set to speak at this year’s three-day conference together with 75 other leading insurtech players. Each one handpicked by DIA Founders Reggy de Feniks and Roger Peverelli, the presenters will discuss live use cases exploring key themes around the future of insurance. Gourab will demonstrate the Aktivo platform and talk about how best practices in the industry drive design and development in Aktivolabs.
